May 18, 2021 — The Divine Appointment

This morning, as I was driving my daughter Eliana to school, there was a traffic jam near the crèche. As I sat in traffic, the Holy Spirit drew my attention to a construction tractor with the license plate number “SG 1417”.

What struck me was how similar it was to our family car’s license plate “MG 1417”. I felt the Lord telling me to look this up in the Bible when I got home.

The Search That Changed Everything

When I arrived home, I was puzzled because I didn’t know any book of the Bible that starts with “SG.” But I obeyed and typed “bible sg 1417” into Google.

This is exactly what I saw when I searched:

The first result led me to a Facebook video with this powerful message:

The Vision Unfolds

Having quit the corporate world in February 2021 to work full-time in God’s business, I had been wanting to create a faith-based business or product.

Right there, as I was reading, the Holy Spirit told me to build an app that would allow Christians around the world to share testimonies about God’s goodness in their lives and to allow believers from the world to pray together virtually.

The Divine Blueprint

The Holy Spirit gave me specific details:

• My Testimonies — Personal history
• Others’ Testimonies — Community testimonies
• About — The story behind the app
• Pray Feature — Christians pray together
• Colors: Blue, white, orange
• Audio Focus: Short audio testimonies

The 4-Year Journey

For four years, I carried this vision but always found excuses: too busy with work, financial pressures, technical challenges, life circumstances.

But through it all, God was faithful. Even during difficult financial seasons, He continued to provide and remind me of His promise.

September 8, 2025 — The Surrender

Today, I SURRENDER. I WANT TO BUILD IT NOW.

I stand on His word in Matthew 6:33:

After 15+ years as a software engineer, I know God has equipped me with every skill needed for this moment.

The Free Gift

Through prayer and seeking God’s heart, I’ve felt His leading that Magnify should remain completely free for all users, forever.

No premium features. No paywalls. No barriers.

Just as salvation is a free gift, this platform should be freely available to every believer worldwide — from missionaries in developing countries to teenagers in youth groups.

God will provide for every need through divine appointments, just as He promised in Matthew 6:33.

The Vision Today

Magnify is more than just an app — it’s an act of obedience to a divine vision received through the simple license plate “SG 1417” that led to Deuteronomy 5:33.

It’s a platform where testimonies encourage believers worldwide, prayer connects hearts across continents, and God is glorified through every story.
